I don’t get why this blog is pissing people off so much…yeah, no one would be likely to grab things (even though hey, if they’re being evacuated ahead of time, they might be able to) but it’s basically just a “here are some important things that I own, look at them” thing. Everyone has things they value, be it upper classes or lower. You think lower classes don’t have anything they would like to save, photos, family items, etc.? That’s it’s just upper middle class which apparently makes them snobs? That’s rubbish, everyone has at least one thing they wouldn’t like to lose. OBVIOUSLY they will all first make sure their family is out. It’s purely hypothetical. I would understand that people are mad if it was a “these are things that I would trade someone’s life for” list but no, it’s not that. It’s just things that people VALUE. Who are you to say that they’re not “allowed” to value those items? Yes, if my house was burning I would grab my family members and pet but if I had an hour or two before the wildfire came to me, I would take along my family albums too and things that my family worked really hard to obtain. Is that SO wrong? Geez, why don’t people choose something reasonable to be pissed off at. Like oh, I don’t know, how about abuse, neglect, racism, sex trafficking, bullying, etc. You know, things that are actually worth fighting against.
